S.C.I. F.I. 3200
The S.C.I. F.I.™ 3200 is the first small character printer that uses Matthews’ valve-jet technology to form printed characters. This drop-on-demand, valve printer is a new, unique approach to small character ink-jet printing utilizing a pressurized ink supply. The 3200 is capable of printing one or two lines of characters, from 1/8" to 13/16" (3.175mm to 20mm) character height.In addition to flexibility of character size, it has an enhanced throw distance for difficult applications, and specially formulated inks. The new S.C.I. F.I. 3200 is rugged and reliable for industrial printing needs. This printer is also suitable in applications which have vibration, dust and other production line challenges. The control unit is housed for industrial packaging applications. Minimal maintenance is required due to Matthews’ valve-jet technology and pressurized ink delivery system. With MATTCOM, a built-in LAN, up to 64 units can be linked and controlled from one keyboard or from a PC, PLC or mainframe. This feature allows you to copy data between controllers and distribute trigger and speed encoder signals on the printer network. With a single source of data control, it’s easy to monitor your coding systems for reliable, uninterrupted printing. The complete S.C.I. F.I. 3200 system includes a printhead, ink supply system, a controller and user friendly software.
